Stupid question... How do I do that? I used One Click root before and it took care of all that for me.

Does anyone know how to update to 2.3.7 and keep all data/settings? I'm rooted on the stock ROM. Can I just do the OTA? Will I lose root? If I do lose root, will I have to wipe phone and reroot (one click method)? Please help :/

My buddy just got the OTA update to EC05 and he wants to root now. Can he use this method even though hes on EC05 already?

I did the "Factory Restore (or Fix a Bricked Phone)" procedure and then the "Froyo EC05 Prerooted/CWM v2.5.1.0 RFS (Odexed)" and that fixed it. Its working now and rooted, but lost everything.. no big deal, its mostly backed up. Thanks
