Happened to me twice this week. I'm missing alarms and text messages over this. No idea what yet. What is troubling though is, I briefly had an LG G2X that would freak, overheat and shut down too. So, two LG phones that shut off. I've had two HTC phones that never shut down.

Google Android updates and my TMo $30 Unlimited Data and 100 minutes with no contract have me happy with N4. HTC One looks good though. I have had 2 HTC phones (myTouch3g and myTouch4g) both were solid phones.

As an aside, you can also upload 20,000 songs to Google Music and stream them to your phone. Not the same as having them on your phone (need to use data or wi-fi), but, not a bad option.

Part of why I got this phone is that if I wanted to satiate my urge to upgrade for very little rational reason, I think this phone will fetch a good price used for quite a while still.

I dropped my iPad4 as it slipped out of a backpack onto a parking deck floor. I thought about fixing the iPad4, but it works perfect if you look right into it, which is how I use it, so I decided to keep the iPad4 ghetto and use that "repair" money on the Nexus 4. Was a good decision. Cracked...
