On some phones neither the stock Mail App nor the stock Messaging App are included. Seems to be a carrier decision. Maybe one user could upload the .apks of both LG stock apps? The free devices on the european market don't have them too, sadly. If they had the apps, I'd upload them. :(

The reviewers are saying that it is not possible to switch to the wide angle camera while recording a video. Instead you have to start a new recording. Until the V30 it was possible! Is there any information about LG providing a software update to make it possible? Has there been any statement...

If we're lucky the V35 will be available not only at AT&T. The V35 ist basically a V30 with SD845, 6GB RAM and the G7s camera.

Maybe you should return it and try to get a better screen.

Haven't heard of any burn-in on the V30 (on Reddit, XDA and here), so I'm pretty optimistic.

You need LG Smartworld to install more themes from LG. Can someone tell me, what the Signature and Light Wave themes change? They have a special icon in the lower right hand corner but I don't know what that means. Here's a picture:

Both are great devices. For me the design of the V30 is enough to choose it over the U11, but here are all the differences I can think of: HTC U11: + the rear camera can be expected to be slightly better + the front facing camera is definitely better + according to reviewers the most fluent UI...

What about LGs music player app?

That's maybe not the kind of lag you're refering to, but the delay when clicking on an app icon until the app opens is actually intended. It sounds weird, I know. I've seen a video where the animations have been turned off in the developer options, and the apps did open instantly.

Imagine you're a tourist in a foreign town and want to take a photo of a beautiful building or inside a church. I can never move far away to get the whole thing on the picture, but with a wide angle camera it's possible.
