Well, It's been quite a few months now, and still the Tablet keeps showing it is out of stock on the Nvidia website. This only leads to me to conclude that the second generation Shield Tablet must be right around the corner.

Been running the tablet all day with no problems. The biggest improvement for me is the absence of lagging when rotating the tablet from portrait to landscape and then back again. Also, it's running much smoother with Android 5.1. This has been a very welcomed update. Thanks Dell. Posted via...

I agree, you may have better luck with Nvidia. I have the Dell Venue 8, and quite frankly, I am pretty disappointed. It has some serious bugs, and updates are next to non-existent. I also had the Shield Tablet previously and except for the difficult to reach buttons Nvidia has been really good...
