Nvidia Shield Tablet Sold Out!

I just went to the Nvidia website to order the 32Gb Shield Tablet and both the 16gb and 32gb models are sold out.

I certainly hope so and will be waiting with baited breath. If it improves on the hardware design, I will be thrilled.. Specifically, the buttons on the side and a better looking screen.

Wouldn't you instead discount them move remaining stock first?

I saw the price on amazon had actually jumped for a time there.

Having ordered a couple of these, it doesn't seem like there was ever a real surplus of devices. I suspect they built enough to do pre-orders, stock up Amazon, GameStop and a couple other places and then trickled the pipeline to backfill or supply a just-in-time delivery model.

Well, It's been quite a few months now, and still the Tablet keeps showing it is out of stock on the Nvidia website. This only leads to me to conclude that the second generation Shield Tablet must be right around the corner.
