I have not installed any screen-dimming apps that I am aware of. Do you know of any apps that do this without it being advertised as such? Maybe as a side effect of what the app is supposed to be for?

I am using a HTC One V running Android 4.0.3. Is there anyway to turn off push notifications for specific apps? I do not see a setting in the app itself.

I've seen both. Unfortunately it is not consistent. For example, right now I have some emails on the phone with "http:\\" showing up as links, whereas other ones with "http:\\" are text. These are all links when I open them on my laptop.

On my HTC One V (Virgin Mobile) I am using the stock email app to read my Yahoo mail. More times than not, if there is an url in the email is text and not a hyperlink. However, if I open the same email on my PC, it is a link. Any way to get it to show up as a link instead of text on the phone?
