Well, I just rebooted my s5 and lo and behold the old menu popped up! I was able to wipe the cache partition after all! I can't explain it, I can only report it. Good luck!
I noticed the same thing on my Verizon S5. I wipe the cache partition once a week, but not this week! That option is gone using the 3 button routine. What's up with that Verizon?
I also got the update today, but my phone won't recognize any apps on my sd card and it randomly restarts. I also wiped my cache. Maybe that will help.
I have used a 64gb sd card in my Verizon S5 since day one. Then I got the bright idea to upgrade to the 128gb card. Well that didn't work at all! Bottom line is 64gb is the max you can use on the S5 for now.
I finally got the 128gb card to work, kind of. I transfered all the apps I could to the card, the app manager says it's on the card, but storage says it's still on internal storage! WTF? Is this what I get for buying a $15 card on Ebay?
I'm trying this process on my S5 and when I transfer from PC to new 128gb card I get error messages that some files are corrupt. I've tried 3 times with no succes.
I downloaded a bunch of podcasts and moved them to my sd card to save space. They should be in order as the podcast is 1 season long. When I moved them they got all scrambled up! Any way to reshuffle them back in order?
Thanks!
