This may be the wrong place to ask this, but I am having issues on my fascinate's battery meter too. What happens is that it says the battery is at 95% all day, but when it runs out it just dies. No warning, no notification, it simply shuts off. Suggestions anyone? I've tried different battery...

So its not just the notification bar. The Widgets I have tried all say 95% as does settings/about phone/battery info. I have since flashed the stock kernel back but that still has not made a difference.

I have been having issues with my battery meter not moving since I switched out the kernel. Instead of showing me how much I use, it sits at 95% and does not move, then some 24 hours later when out of juice it just dies. It gives one low battery notification and just dies thirty seconds later...

I don't want to restore factory settings though, I just want my battery life/meter to be normal.

No, how do I do that?

I took off the lagfix and sideloaded the voodoo kernel. Other than that nothing.

Is anybody else finding that the soft key search still goes through Bing? The voice search works right but not the regular search.

Soft key search is still going through Bing, although voice search says Google.

Downloaded the google apk in the beginning of the thread, went to install it and it froze. Completely.
