I had a Samsung S6 previously so I don't think it's an iPhone vs android thing. Some developers don't support new downloads when they're giving up on an app (for example the Proboards app) but if you already have it, it works OK.

Bummer, so I guess it's just coincidental that it acted up when I switched phones? I actually dug that app quite a bit

Ever since switching to S8+ my FB groups app won't load the groups. I get notifications but the groups don't load at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it. Any other ideas?

Are you sure it's the notification you think it is? I had a notification that kept going off and after some investigation, I figured out it was a completely unrelated app that was set to give notifications

I'm unclear what setting is supposed to be in what mode. Are these not correct?

Nothing happens when I put my finger there, so I still have to press the "home" button and then swipe to open.

I've always loved SwiftKey but I'm currently annoyed that I have to hit the arrow to hide the keyboard before I get the "back arrow".
