Facebook groups won't load

Ever since switching to S8+ my FB groups app won't load the groups. I get notifications but the groups don't load at all.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled it. Any other ideas?

It's the app not your phone. Facebook has given up on it. Just look at the complaints online.

Bummer, so I guess it's just coincidental that it acted up when I switched phones? I actually dug that app quite a bit

Not coincidental at all. Worked just fine on my iPhone, and still does. Hasn't worked nearly as well on the android side, but that's really nothing new.

I had a Samsung S6 previously so I don't think it's an iPhone vs android thing. Some developers don't support new downloads when they're giving up on an app (for example the Proboards app) but if you already have it, it works OK.

I was just giving you my personal experience, not giving you a blanket statement about android vs iPhone. When I hop on the iPhone, everything in the Facebook app works great. When I use the Facebook app on android, not so much.

The Facebook groups app stopped working on Android a while ago. It hasn't been updated since September 2016. I wish they'd fix it because the groups are the only reason I still have a Facebook account.

Is this still the case now? My groups wont load can only load the first 5 posts then freezes.... im so upset all i have facebook for
