Yes. As an At&t customer rep i know first hand. they do not train that stuff. they just put the information as an alert in our system. and expect us to be able to find it. If you have no knowledge on the subject you would automatically think the customer was talking about the most recent update...

They just put information on the update in our systems (I work at an at&t call center) today. and they are correct tech support is not open in the wee hours of the night. In the system is says that we are not to push the update until after the 23rd. I have an inspire and I am wanting the update...

Probably not. you had to have a smartphone (BB, Android, iPhone, Windows) with a unlimited plan on that line. Unfortunately the Family unlimited data is more than likely not eligible.

this actually is true i work for at&t as well and its to keep people from canceling....just kinda of another customer service thing....they also let you do it with your minutes

I work for at&T (for real) and regardless of what they tell you...you can keep your unlimited as long as it is a smartphone you are moving from iphone to BB to android etc....Now they do have the right to pull your unlimited data if they so choose at any point, but its not good customer...
