I tried that......but the "clear defaults" button is greyed out. I wish instead of the "clear default" button, there was a "make default" button......and that would solve everything.

I am having the same issue and no defaults are set. I think this issue started when I upgraded to JB 4.3 (Note 2).

I downloaded a few calling apps and whenever I try to dial out from the stock dialer on my Note 2, I do not get a prompt to choose......but rather it just connects using the stock "phone" dialer. I am on 4.3 and dont remember this being a problem in earlier versions of Android OS.

This all started when I upgraded to JB 4.3 on my Note 2. I have a few calling apps installed but the CAU dialog box does not appear when I try to dial out using the stock dialer. I have to manually open the apps. No defaults are set anywhere.

I am having this same issue and it began when I upgraded my Note 2 to JB 4.3. Unfortunately, I do not see an 'edit your number' when I long press an entry under call history.

I am having this same issue on a Note 2. Before I upgraded to 4.3 , all was working fine. I thought it was my app, but then I even edited the manifest for proper permissions and intents and still am having this problem. So I think the problem is JB 4.3
