It worked for 3 weeks after the update. And I'm done resetting my phone. I'll survive without it until my next phone

After some searching, it seems that it's a hardware issue. When the phone senses the front camera lens isn't properly connected to the phone (motherboard?), it automatically removes the option of going front facing. Oh well. Time to either open up the phone and fix, get a new phone, or just...

Tried it. Nothing doing. Used to have the flip button at the bottom left corner. Now it's gone. Anybody else having this issue?

Did we all just lose the option of flipping the camera with the latest update? Using Using version 5.0.47.7

In play store, select the google app, then click the three dot option on top right corner, and deselect auto update

With the last update this ses to be hit or miss. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn't. In general, the app is so laggy that I don't rely on it anymore for sms.
