Motorola camera flip to front-facing gone?

Did we all just lose the option of flipping the camera with the latest update?
Using Using version 5.0.47.7

Mine works fine. Have you rebooted or cleared the app cache?

Tried it. Nothing doing.
Used to have the flip button at the bottom left corner. Now it's gone. Anybody else having this issue?

I have that version and it flips fine. Yours is a flop!

Did u get ur front flip I lost mine after updating.....

I don't even use that button anymore...I use the wrist twist motion to flip between cameras.

After some searching, it seems that it's a hardware issue.
When the phone senses the front camera lens isn't properly connected to the phone (motherboard?), it automatically removes the option of going front facing. Oh well.
Time to either open up the phone and fix, get a new phone, or just live without it (like normal people did for thousands of years).

If this happened after the update and you know for a fact it was working before....factory reset.

It worked for 3 weeks after the update. And I'm done resetting my phone. I'll survive without it until my next phone
