Ok everyone, I'm quite tired researching this issue but I have found the problem and solution. It's because of the high number of wake locks that's preventing the phone from going into deep sleep when at rest. That's whats draining out the battery so fast. I also uninstalled the app lock app...

From a 100% charge at 2pm today, with practically no usage, at 7:18pm it's down to 73%. That's almost a 6% battery drain per hour. That can't be good. By using better battery stats how can I tell if it's going into sleep or not.

I'm coming from an iPhone 4s and I just LOVE the Note 2! The size is a bit big but that's what I love about it. The big screen. Many though that I've shown it too say it's way too big. I'm always trying to defend it's size. I show them how I hold it, how it fits in my jeans front pocket...

I also have a 64GB Sandisk SD card installed. I have heard of a media scanner service wake issue but I haven't seen any mounting, un-mounting messages on the phone. - - - Updated - - - Would this wipe all my apps, data, and settings?

Ok, I have installed Better Battery Stats and have it fully charged at 100% at 2:00pm today. I'm going to try and use it at little as possible today to see whats going on. With that app is there a way to to see if it's in-fact going into deep sleep mode? Thanks!

Sorry, I'm not really sure how to interpret the colours. Are the "blue" areas periods of activity? Regarding the Mobile network signal, is the "gray" areas when it's poor, "green" when it's a good signal, and "yellow" when it's very poor and "black" when it's off or no signal?.
