Unlocking phone for Straight Talk Do I need to unlock a Samsung S5 running on Verizon to move it to Straight Talk? I've posted this question previously, but got no answers. Thanks!

I have a similar question. I have the opportunity to buy a Samsung S5 running on the Verizon network. I would be going to the Verizon network through Straight Talk, so is it necessary to unlock the phone? Thanks!

Re: Can't download an MMS message, don't know what to do. GSDer... I rebooted and it still said 1X. I turned the wi-fi on, then off again, and it now says 3G. Go figure... I think if the wind blows too hard here things go wonky! :-\

Re: Can't download an MMS message, don't know what to do. Thank you. Turning off wi-fi helped, at least with the last MMS I received. I noticed when I turn off my wi-fi, I only have a 1X showing in my status bar. Still seems odd that the downloads are so random for me.
