How to switch Verizon Samsung S5 to Straight Talk? ?

Hi everybody, thanks in advance for your help. I have a Verizon Samsung S5 that was disconnected for non payment I am wondering if I can hook this phone up with Straight Talk for the time being? If so how? I cannot find any info on this. I know they have the Bring your own phone option but I don't know if that includes a phone that is on a non pay list. Any help would be greatly appreciated. .... thank you so much

I have a similar question. I have the opportunity to buy a Samsung S5 running on the Verizon network. I would be going to the Verizon network through Straight Talk, so is it necessary to unlock the phone?
