Fine had multiple windows open including video streamed from usb drive and it was fine other than sound was not from TV but from S8 great for travelling and away from home especially if you want a dual screen or just playing media on large TV in a hotel

Go to settings/lock screen and security/information and face widgets and set roaming clock on

Two clocks in normal orientation will appear with roaming home and away else no other options currently

If you use home and away settings at least you get two clocks in a nicer arrangement than the single vertical one, that's the only change I can get

Yes smart switch is fine IMO but you should aways back-up your LG first before you wipe it
