I also had the same thing happen about 2 months ago. Factory reset was the only solution offered by Verizon.

I just got a hard leather case from Verizon, with my $25.00 gift card and I think it's causing the same thing. I took it off yesterday, but I'm not at home, so I can't really tell if it's improved the signal. I'm leaving it off for a while and until I'm home and do some comparisons.

Mine was in King of Prussia early this morning. I could have been there in 10 minutes to pick it up. It's a little after 11:00 and I'm still waiting. At least I know (or hope) it's on it's way.
