I've seen this mentioned a few times, but not exactly my same issue. Each time I exit an application, I get the white HTC screen and then the "loading" screen. At the same time this started happening, I've noticed that all my pictures I have saved on my phone are gone! I have no clue hoe to fix this, or what could be the cause. Can anyone help? I'd love to have my pictures back and not have to see this HTC white screen! Thanks in advance.

Sorry to say but it doesn't sound good. If you have been saving your pictures to your phone storage then I'd say they were gone. A better option would be to save them to your SD card. If for some reason the phone craps out on you, as it's doing here, at least you can salvage the contents of your SD card.

It sounds to me like, for some reason, Sense keeps crashing on you.

I'm guessing you are not rooted?

You may want to try a factory reset but before you do, it's going to erase everything on your phone...your SD card will not be affected. If you have music or anything else saved on your phones memory it will be erased by the factory reset. Once you reset and log back into Google, all your Gmail and contacts will reappear assuming your contacts were backed up and synced to your Gmail to begin with.

When you get the white HTC screen and the "loading" screen, that usually means you're low on RAM. Going into Settings->Applications->Running services and stopping anything that you're no longer using will usually take care of it for you. Or just do a battery pull if you're not in the middle of something

Thanks for the suggestions. I would hate to do a factory re-set. I had to do that a few months ago. I'll try checking on the Ram. thanks again!

iBowToAndroid: I followed your suggestions and no longer get the white HTC screen, AND, most importantly, all of my pictures came back after I pulled the batter and replaced it! THANK YOU!
