    That's very weird I have the same phone and I haven't experienced that. You may want to take your phone to the store to get checked out by a technician, only because your phone is also new.

    You may want to check underneath your setting the option for Ambient Display. I think that if you check that setting you can pick options so that you don't have to face that problem. I hope that I answered your question!
