Spring has finally arrived in the upper mid-west

The family and I went to Fermi National Laboratory today. They had all of the "laboratory" stuff that you would expect and they also had . . . a herd of buffalo. I don't know why a partical accelerator lab has a herd of buffalo. It was my favorite part of the day.

A walk in the woods. These are not B&W pictures.

Ice formations jutting out into Lake Michigan. The water is so clear that you can see rocks lying on the bottom of the lake in some of the pictures.
