Good point about being able to disable things from the lock screen that would result in making it harder to track the phone! Thankfully you can remove things from those quick settings. I removed airplane mode, data toggle and location. That should help.

It will switch over to different networks beyond Sprint and T Mobile. I've had it connect to AT&T towers. Data is slower when it does, but it does work.
