The one we have has been fine, have you tried changing the transition animation scale to 0.5x?

it hurts my soul to see guys destroy new phones :'(. The screen isn't scratch resistant, so what? Just use a screen protector. I have to confess the flame thing was kind of cool though.

The best smartphone for audio is probably the LG V20 or HTC 10. In terms of earphones or headphones, there are too many variables to say. You are best avoiding bluetooth and going for a pair of traditional over the ear cans most likely. The real question is how much are you willing to spend.

What device do you have? It may be possible it's overheating when on charge.

I picked one up for my daughter (16, doing my best not to spoil her) and I agree. No real standout features but all around very solid, and whilst it doesn't quite have the specs or build quality of the high end flagships it is well under half the price. Definite thumbs up from me.

It's $250 on Amazon too but without the headphones so this is a pretty sweet deal. Such a bargain compared to the top end handsets, Huawei, Xiaomi and OnePlus are quickly becoming my favourite companies.
