If you hadn't told me my phone updated to a new OS I'd have had no clue. It prompted me to see if I wanted to enable the battery saving stuff, but otherwise I haven't noticed anything different. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I had a phone chat with google support and I'm pretty sure I knew more than the guy did. They eventually decided to send me a replacement set of Pixel Buds.

There was a time when they made phones that didn't require cases.

As much as I picked out the white this time I find the colors mostly pointless since everyone puts a case on that covers the color other than the very few that get a clear case.

I got the white, but I figure whatever color you get is kinda pointless because everyone puts a case on them and you generally can't see the actual color anyway. I at least got a case with a semitranslucent back, but I also never see the back of the phone so more of it kinda doesn't matter.

Well looks like it must have been the Google app as it was much better last night after I deleted the cache and user data and restarted the app. Might have been even better if I hadn't had Alexa playing me sleep sounds all night.

Good idea. I had a live chat with Gemini. I told her the Google app seemed to be sucking the most battery power. She suggested clearing the cache and perhaps user data so I'll give that a try and see what happens
