Got my update "without" the date trick. It arrived when it hit my area. Just like AT&T kept telling me it would. It only had a 10% rollout a day.

What are the advantages of rooting? I don't want to mess with the phone in case more updates are given.

What do you need to rename the downloadable file to? All I can remember is update something or something update.

AT&T told me by Tuesday they will talk to me about a new phone but Tezz, it might be refurbished. I will not take a refurbished one for a two month old new one that I paid big bucks for. AT&T Service Centers will eventually be able to flash the update to the phone. Kimmy, that should not have...
