Multi view update on December 27th!

Thank you Peaches. My file is in an update folder with a few things inside it. Is that normal?

Long press the 'back' button to initiate the blue tab for the Multi-Task/drawer. Long press again to make it disappear. Then you can hold down the tab and move it to the top/right/bottom as well...if you do one-handed and hold it in your right-hand, you may want the tab on the right-side and the feature. You can also slide the tab up and down to find the best position to not hit it often.

Initially I was hitting the tab by accident while typing, but then I realized that you can slide the tab up and down the left side of the screen to keep it out of the way. COOL!

Sure I did, sweetie. Had I not pushed my clock forward (as others have done also on this page) I would NOT have gotten the update. Again, so sorry you don't have yours yet.

No Jeffrol, the more you change the time the more the date will be pushed away. ATandT made SURE of this.

For those new to the thread. Soap4Me was spreading misinformation that pushing the date forward on your phones would delay your update depending on how far forward you pushed the date. I'd like everyone to know that if you have pushed your date into 2013, DO NOT FRET! Keep checking every few days by pushing the date forward each day and eventually you WILL get the update! I was at the end of March 2013, and according to Soap4Me I would have to wait close to 2000 hours before I got my update since I was "toying" with the clock. This is NOT the case. All is well! I got my update this morning after pushing the clock two more days forward and checking for the update!

Jeff was just due to get the update. Leave clock alone. You will get it. If you read thread you will see pushing clock ahead didn't help. When it comes to your area, the update will download without clock pushing like an addict. As you can see, Jeff insults like a child so take advice from the source. 3 to 4 weeks to push to entire country. Take it from there.

Is cleanrom 3.3 or jedi6x better? I've also seen NOTeorious Rom, but a few people complaining about call loss.


Edit: figures....as of 1/4/12 7:50 est, it is now updating. Man, I was giving it until tomorrow, then had everything ready for the root n Rom. I dl'd 3 ROMs just in case...lol :-l

ska, go to settings>about device>check for updates. I went to AT&T corporate store and even their phones can't get the update. AT&T said it could take a full month to fully roll out.

Thank you. I got the update, but scared to do it. LoL Has anyone had any problems after doing it? Does it delete contacts or apps? Does Flashsstill work? I havent backed up my phone nor know how to. Should I before updating?

The new Multi-Window is cool, but most of my apps can't be used with it......sux, I may root anyway now!

Yaaaay! When the clock counted down to zero, I didn't press check for updates right away. I waited 12 hours, rebooted my router and modem, hit check for updates again, and there was my update! YES! Works great! Thank you all for your help. Ska, other than what I did here. I did nothing. No back up. Flash hasn't been on these phones in a bit now. Update running fine and lost Nothing.
