I still cannot reply to the conversations with my name/phone number in the group. I will leave it off and see if I get any new groups, it might be fixed but still leave the "broken" groups in my history. If no new broken groups appear when people message me then it is a win! The real answer...

I did that and even rebooted but google pulled all my history of conversations so all the ones with me added are still there and still blocking me from sending. I am not sure what else to do. I also tried deleting the app and re adding but same thing no change.
