Ok. I sorted out the Samsung mess. I have put Messenger (the FB one) as default instead of the messy Messages from Samsung. No more pop up message 'Currently unable to download etc...' That sheet was driving me nuts. Samsung technicians knew nothing, only blah-blah...

UPDATE. Seemingly, the message appears only over wi-fi, not on mobile data. Thanks for any ideas you might have

Either wifi or mobile data, it still shows up at the bottom of the screen every 9 mins. I used a Toaster app, but couldn't find out what app is trying to download. I don't know what else to do to fix it
