Turns out, iPhone users are not that into RCS

I've had folks with iPhones experience multiple problems with RCS, so I don't really blame some of them for not having patience. For some, the phone just seems to keep kicking itself out of RCS, but all settings are confirmed as correct and even after multiple restarts. For others, the RCS...

Google chrome opens new tab automatically on startup

I experience similar, with most browsers. Would be nice if they'd just open with no tabs at all if that was the last state when last closed, or only re-open the last tabs as opposed to also opening a new tab. The only thing I've been able to do to help workaround it is to set the new tab page to...

    Google Messages: Googles Latest Stupidity

I feel your frustrations and basically agree with you. However, it's not unlike most apps nowadays in terms of throwing something out there to see if it works with what warts and such. At least for this the user can choose (I assume, not 100% sure since the update in question hasn't yet arrived...

    Google Messages: Googles Latest Stupidity

Yeah it's basically my SMS replacement also right now, and for slightly better security. My guess is Google is trying to see if folks want to use RCS in a manner similar to how some use for social media chat apps. And, if some of those types of features will attract people to it, or even away...
