    Annual question

Yeah, it looks like a better deal on the regular 9 Pro. The XL isn't quite so good and is a £500+ upgrade. I'm not going back to a smaller phone after my year with the Pixel 5!

    Annual question

UK. £672 or something for 9 Pro XL. It's probably not helped because last year the base price was £100 lower (I think) but there was a free upgrade to 256 GB storage. This year, I think it starts at 256 GB but they didn't lower the base price to last year's base price. The £20 email newsletter...

    Annual question

Well, the trade-in values are pretty bad this year, so I'll be sticking with my 9 Pro XL.

    Annual question

It depends on the trade-in deals for me. I have a 9 Pro XL so definitely don't need to, but if they have a particularly aggressive trade-in deals that makes it very affordable, I might consider it.

Paint nicked around the camera bump of the Pixel 9 Pro XL

I have something similar with the official Google case. I have a similar thing in one location on the front also. Both very small, but once you see it you can't un-see it.

What phone are you upgrading from?

Pixel 5. I upgraded from a 2XL last year as I felt that was getting a bit long in the tooth. I like the 5 but honestly never got used to the smaller size and struggle a bit with typing compared to the 2XL so I'm excited to go back to a bigger phone, although it may now be a shock to go back! I...

anyone have experience with preordering from google?

It depends on where you are in the queue and when you ordered. It'll tell you your delivery date on the final checkout page before you confirm. Mine says to be delivered on or before October 26th, so it'll be shipped on the 25th, so I'll actually have it before release date. I think I also had...

    Anyone's phone shipping yet?

My order and email say "delivered by 26th October" (Tuesday) which I think is the earliest date I've seen (somehow lucked out there after hours of trying! Pixel 6 Pro Stormy Black, 128 GB, UK) and it's now shipped yet. I'm expecting it to ship on the 25th (Monday) based on all my previous...

Would love to win one to give to my boyfriend for Xmas - he's suffering with his phone, and I'm loving my 6P so far!

Moto X (2nd gen) 5.1 Lollipop: Battery Draining Faster?

Same thing here. I've even done a factory reset and nothing changed.

High battery usage whilst in airplane mode?

Hmm, I don't really wanna turn the location mode to battery saving as that disables turn by turn navigation in Maps. I've noticed that WiFi is shown as active when the phone's in airplane mode, even if you turn off the option for the phone to use WiFi even when it's turned off in Settings...

High battery usage whilst in airplane mode?

I've had my Moto X for a couple of weeks and have noticed that it seems to drain battery strangely quickly when in Airplane mode and with the screen turned off. I leave my phone in this state while at work. This morning, I put my phone away for over 3.5 hours in this state. After this 3.5 hours...

    Shipping when ordered from Moto?

DHL have now got their act together for me. Mine is in the UK now, so hopefully it'll be on its way to me tomorrow or Thursday :)

    Shipping when ordered from Moto?

Something odd is going on with mine too. Ordered mine on Cyber Monday in the UK. It's been picked up from Moto's factory in Shenzen and I have a DHL tracking number for it but it hasn't had a scan since Wednesday 3rd, so looks to have not moved since then. I called DHL today who don't really...

    New Moto Connect update

Works fine for me. Some of the new watch faces are pretty ugly. The "Design your own" watch face is really good too; it's nice that you can set how bright you want the background picture to be, to make it as subtle or obvious as you like. It's good to see Motorola continuing to develop the 360.
