If you just got it, and it is indeed a new phone I recommend just saving yourself the fuss and returning it. You can reinstall the GAPPs which include the play store, but usually that task only comes into play when flashing new ROMs. Hope this helps!

I too am a fan of the Nexus line. I must say with Dirty Unicorns ROM it is a whole different animal compared to out of the box!

Do you have unlimited data on your phone plan? It is possible to mirror your screen over your mobile network, not wifi.

If you have unlimited data you can stream from your phone as a wifi hotspot. I will include a link that explains how.

I love mine! Especially now that it works over WiFi without my phone!

Re: Wifi Auto connecting on Verizon Galaxy S6 You have to turn off the connection optimizer. Because you have already linked the two, your phone will override the settings to ensure the phone is running at its best. You should find this in Settings -> Mobile networks. Hope this helps!
