Ive tried most of them and settled on Aquamail.

Activating TMobile Digits also caused this for me. I deactivated with solution 4, as well as going into their app under profile and turning off multiple devices. Digits was nice but I missed using Textra.

Try setting wifi calling to cellular network preferred if it's happening when on wifi

I think it's related to wifi calling being the default. Turning off wifi calling may fix it. I've had this problem with my last two phones and using Textra was my solution as well.
