Samsung AOD Update

I was hoping that the update would allow the fingerprint icon to be permanently displayed, just like the home button on the Galaxy S8 through Note 9. No dice, I guess.

No idea what this update actually contains.

[4.2.05.1]
1. Resolved an issue where the AOD clock would automatically switch to an AOD theme.
2. Fixed other bugs.

How do you know if you have the latest AOD? I haven't had any updates since I got the phone except for a couple play store ones maybe Samsung but don't recall AOD. Mine says 3/25 so I guess I have it 4.2.05.1 Do you guys leave AOD always on or tap to see it? Is one better for battery than other? I've only had phone since Tuesday so still seeing how battery is. Trying to go all day without charging from when I wake up till I get home from work. Yesterday came home with 39% didn't use it much cause of working but not the best signal there neither.

If you go into Always On Display in settings (under Lock Screen) and click on "About Always on Display" it will give you the version and tell you if there are any updates.
