That'll happen EVERY time you turn the screen back on, if you've got OC widget set to show the notification. Personally, I prefer it shows the notification, just as a reminder it's working lol

Unless I'm mistaken, the OP has a Sprint Hero, so Darchenwar44 was correct in the ROM posted. If you do indeed have a sprint hero, do NOT use the ROM Kermagod posted, as it's for the GSM Hero, and could (likely will) brick your phone

oh believe me, if I lived in an area that had better internet, I'd have it in a heartbeat (certainly be cheaper). Due to the fact that I live in such an area, I also don't have cell reception, which kills the tethering idea lol

I've flashed a couple different radios in the past and never really noticed a difference. Is there any documented improvement that people have between different radios? Just curious (and trying to decide whether I'm ambitious enough to flash this tonight lol)
