I've checked and so far, no such problem in safe mode.

It works in safe mode, but it's working now anyway so I can't diagnose the problem. I can't make it not work again. Update:It went unresponsive again after long charging with headphones plugged in and audio player playing for a long time. I unplugged and it responds again.

I found a temporary fix, which is to put the device to sleep while an app is running, then upon waking it up, put it to sleep again for 2 minutes, then wake it up again and it runs smoothly.
