Okay, I got this to work by exporting the certificate to a p7b and importing it to my Nexus. Once that was done, I was able to set up my Exchange account. Not sure why Nexus even required this in the first place as my cert is a public one and my other ActiveSync-capable devices detected it fine...

I installed another Samsung app store update this morning and have not seen the error since.

Especially since the Nexus 5 has been released and is so tempting, this is going to give me an excuse to sell it. :p

I agree because it only started for me after the Samsung app store tried to do updates to the two apps I mentioned this morning. The error has since recurred even after I've disabled Photo Editor and uninstalled the Evernote update so I disabled the Samsung Apps store altogether. Waiting to see...
