    Software update

Another bug found. After this update listening to text messages through Android Auto is broken. I have a 2017 Ford Explorer Platinum and had no problems before. Now when a new text comes in and I touch the notification icon it shows google assistant dots but doesn't play the message and then...

Buy 6P Now or Wait for New Nexus or New Note

I don't understand why everyone avoids Samsung devices because of touchwiz. I install Nova Launcher on every Android phone I buy so the experience becomes the same regardless. Samsung device offers some more features built-in that you need third party apps to accomplish with a Nexus device...

Nope. I have both. Only get advanced features with AT&T version. If you are ok with 4g LTE only then go with the unlocked version

You are right. It says blue on the website now. Posted via the Android Central App

    Google Nexus 6 on Verizon

I also heard that Verizon is only selling the 32GB Blue version. That might be what they start with due to availability but It would not surprise me if that is the only model they release.

    Google Nexus 6 on Verizon

I would recommend buying from Swappa.com. The moderators on that site check the IMEI of every device sold before it can be listed. Usually if the phone was purchased on a payment plan it will let the moderators know and they won't allow it to be listed. This happened to me when I purchased a new...

Bad News for Sense 5 update?

There is a post on here or on the DroidDNAforum. I don't remember which, but a Verizon rep said that there is a Sense 5 update coming for the DNA before the end of the summer. Who knows. They will need it for the new Butterfly 2 so it would not be too difficult to get it to the DNA. Just depends...

    is the dna bluetooth smart?

It depends which Fitbit. So far the only Android devices that are certified with the Fitbit Flex are the Samsung Galaxy S3, S4 and Note 2. Fitbit said they are working on adding more phones to the compatibility list. I tried it on my DNA and no go but works fine on my Note 2. The Jawbone UP...

    GPS problem.

It fixes that problem. But what about the 5-8 minutes it takes to find a satellite when using Google Navigation? All of my other phones connect almost instantly. Is there a fix for this issue?

Help to play music in my vehicle

I would purchase the HTC Bluetooth Stereo Stick adapter. Don't use wires. it runs Bluetooth 4.0 and works well with the Note 2 in my new Nissan Maxima that has Bluetooth headset support but not Bluetooth stereo support. I have mine plugged into the AUX jack in my armrest console and have it...

Made the move from the RAZR Maxx

I get better reception on my Note 2 than my Razor Maxx HD. Verizon has been having some serious tower issues in our area lately. 3G at least once daily for the last two weeks. I get 4 bars of 4G in the back corner of my basement. Might have a bad SIM or be in a sketchy 4G area.
