Since oreo you can no longer put individual text tones for people in your contacts. You can only do it for active conversations. I am wondering if LGG8 kept the feature where you can set tones for each individual in your contacts and not worry about losing them when you delete a text thread

Does anyone know if the oxygen platform with One plus phones can have seperate tones for each contact for notifications? Thanks

I just found this page [thanks to someone on the board] and just bought a moto g6 in Jan and am freaking out over this. Google can't be this stupid. They must have a reason. I just wasted $300 bucks. I need this feature. I guess I'll have to go back to an lg. Google you really do suck.

each time I send a text and delete it, the moto g6 defaults the ringtone/message tone back to default. There is no way to keep a unique tone for my individual contacts. It lets me set it up, but only works if I do not delete a text thread. As soon as I delete, it goes back to default. Help please!

So I think I have priority mode shut off on my lgg3, and each morning when I wake it is on. The hours are set from 10-7. There appears no way to turn the hours to "0". But when I think I have it shut off, it keeps coming back on each night. Anyway to turn this off? Am I missing something? Thanks
