Just tried it on mine and and the phone is still locked when I back out of the camera app. Are you in a trusted place by any chance? Or connected to a trusted device that you forgot about?

I'm having the opposite problem... I turn off Bluetooth all the time, but whenever I get into my car, the phone auto connects to my car.

There are some opportunities there for screen brightness in daylight. But my Pixel 3 xl is a lot better than my wife's Pixel 2 (non xl).

So what was happening with my issue, was that the phone will stay connected to bluetooth even when plugged in and in android auto mode... something I never had an issue with with my Galaxy S8+, bluetooth would just automatically disconnect from my car when android auto was initialized with that...

2017 Malibu here... Having an issue where when Waze notifies me of something, and I just have the radio on, it changes my audio source to Bluetooth. So then I have to navigate to my audio source to change the source back to the radio. Never had that issue before. I may just have to turn Waze...

Nope, haven't heard anything from them. When I ordered the phone, the promotion fine print basically said that the stand would arrive around 2 weeks after the phone shipped. So i'm going to keep my eyes peeled, and if in two weeks I don't receive the stand, then I'll make the call to VZW.

Mine just arrived an hour ago. 64GB White XL from Verizon. Ordered through the app on 10/9 at the end of the keynote. And I'm totally loving this phone btw. I've screened two calls already. And I can't wait to take some pictures during my lunch hour.
