Yeah, my USB connections listing in the notifications screen you sent me too is also locked at being on. I did have an idea, I could move everything I want to keep on my SD card, remove it and factory reset the phone by itself, that might shake out some old software from compounded system...

I've got a screenshot of the notification itself, I can send one of the thing it brings up after I tap on it if that helps.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention it, didn't seem any different on the other PC either. Still defaulted to cable charging and can't tap on the notification to change it, takes me to the power settings of the phone. It doesn't appear on either file explorer or device manager on either PC.

Hi, I've tried both of these things, I was going to try using a different pc today and see if that's any different, trying both wires and different ports on that too.

I'm using a Galaxy A20e with Android 11, I used to be able to transfer files from my PC to my phone whenever it was plugged in and unlocked as normal. Using the same cable, I now can't change the connection type to file transfer in the notification. That now takes me to the power usage settings...
