Go into the google voice app, settings, sync and notifications, and uncheck voicemail notifications. This may solve your problem. Give it a try. Not sure what else it might be.

So I have plans to switch phone carriers in the near future. More specifically I plan to go with At&t. I was browsing through their plans and was a bit shocked to see they only offer a $20 for unlimited texting plan. I only average around 300-400 texts a month. So unlimited is over kill for me...

I'm going out on a limb here. . .but I'd say no. The Xperia Z was offered on T-mobile and not At&t. I have a feeling that's going to be the way it is going to be with future phones sadly.

I've read the if you want LTE with this device for At&t you need the C6906 which supports At&t 700 Lte band. Otherwise it does support hspa+

When I say have my phone at an angle I don't mean at an extreme angle. Just off center. The way reviews make it sound is if you aren't 100% dead center the screen looks washed out.

Good chance. That sensorly coverage map showed that At&t would have better coverage than sprint in my common places that I go. Which is mainly what I'm looking for. Doing this. Only thing is I'll have to go to a t-mobile store to see how an xperia feels. eehhh. . .

I'll have one. . .in maybe five years. . . Anyway I was looking at the Xperia phones and they seem to be decent phones aswell. Just not sure if I'd be willing to buy a phone off of contract for that much.
