I just swapped my wife's s8 for an s9 on Samsungs website. 790- discount - s8 tradein = 490 off. I'm not paying 800 bucks for an s10. Plus she doeant want a 6" phone.

I have had no issues for my s7 tradein for 400 off an s8 that I did in December. But never again will I do it. I will stick with the att 300 off deals when they show up. I got lucky. Go to small claims court if you must. Samsungs process to trade in is sloppy and full of areas that can fail

Factory reset. Turn off phone, hold down home button, volume up button and power and hold all three until you see a robot that looks dead. Let go and follow the instructions once they come up.

I bet the circuit on the battery can't read the battery properly. It lost its calibration. A new battery might fix it.

Factory reset. If still takes 30 seconds, it probably is a fail.

U paid for quality, not usability. Return it. Or, give me the money if you prefer to throw money away.

Was the screen wet or moist? It may have caused it.

Have you removed the plastic cover that comes on the lense?

There is a good chance that it is not your cache. Nougat has battery life issues, the patch that came out the day after I received the nougat update broke my battery life, and multiple factory resets can't bring it back for me. Let me know if you have any luck.
