    Phone for modder

Very true. The 6P would be great, altough I've heard Oreo is the last update its getting. Maybe there will be some LOS releases with later versions of Android, but that's just a guess. Just to clarify, you are saying the G5 Plus is not a good choice or were you just considering what I said in...

    Phone for modder

Hi. I'm looking for a phone that has a good development community and is easily locked, unlocked, rooted, unrooted, etc. I've been looking into the OnePlus (5, 3T, 3, 2, One and X), Google Pixel, Nexus (5X and 6P), Motorola (X Play, Z Play and G5 Plus) and this don't convince me for a few...

    Is this normal?

Yes I guess the battery life is just bad. Nothing to do about it. WiFi is never on, unless there is a network I want to use, so that shouldn't be the issue. The last LG phones I had were pretty awful, so I guess this is no surprise. Thanks for the help, friend.

    Is this normal?

I almost never have sync enabled. That's very good advice. Worth to remember. However, there are no issues there. To be honest, every software I installed has reported the battery as having good health. Accubattery even showed that the estimated capacity was 2280mAh, pretty close to the factory...

    Is this normal?

Yeah it says there "some devices may experience battery drain when playing for a long period of time". Also in the first link it says that it can drain 90% of your battery in a day. It drains 90% of mine in 30 minutes. Now to be honest, we are a little off topic. The reason is that Pokemon GO...

    Is this normal?

Whenever I'm on Pokemon GO, it uses from 1300 to 2400mA, which seems insane. I've tried calibrating with no luck, and the battery has good health.

    Is this normal?

Yes. I know the difference between mA and mAh. I'm talking about the current being used. I remember my Moto G5 Plus used a lot less. That's why I'm asking. I'm using Gsam now, but I was wondering if someone got the same consumption, since the Accubattery reading is pretty accurate, because if...

    Is this normal?

It's an "LG G4 Beat" (or "LG G4s"). On idle I get around 60mA. When on YouTube or Chrome around 450-800mA. I'll try the app, but I believe this works fine, since it didn't do the same thing on the other device. Also the time checks out. THe battery will last 1-1.5h.

    Is this normal?

I get 1300mA when playing Pokemon GO. I used to have a Moto G5 Plus and it didn't use that much, and this is with battery saver and background apps restricted, at 0% brightness. Thank you for your suggestions.

    Highly mod-able budget phone

Huh the Moto C seems appropriate. Good one! Seems a bit much for me. Just to be clear, you guys are saying Nexus and Motorola are the best choices?

    Highly mod-able budget phone

A bit too expensive for me. As I said, I have a low budget.

    Highly mod-able budget phone

Hi, I'm looking to buy a phone, and I'm not sure what to get. I have a low budget, and wanted to know which brands would you recommend for a mod fan (Custom ROMs and such, I'm not a developer). For obvious reasons I'm considering Motorola (maybe and Nexus, but is there anything else out there...
