In the playstore I only see Adguard. It says it only works with Samsung and Yandex browsers. Plus my ad pop-ups go beyond the web browsing experience. I can be doing something on my notepad or looking at my photo gallery and I still get pop-ups. So not sure how to deal with that. @

I had the same problem. Best Buy and other ads. I just deleted the buggy Android Central app and it seems to solve the problem. Only my Twitter app shows random pop-up ads now lol. Sucks that even a basic browsing experience on a tablet can be junked-up with ads.

I thought it could be the launcher. I've used the paid version of Next for a few years but haven't had this problem. It could also be my ZUI lockscreen as they have a tendency to make updates no one ever likes. This is kind of a needle in a haystack but I'll poke around. Frustrating though.

Is there any way to determine which application is causing full-page ads to pop up on device? About a month ago ads appear right after I unlock and occasionally during the user experience. I believe these pop up whether or not I'm actually browsing the web. I use Next Launcher.

Has anyone else noticed their hotspot/tethering option has disappeared from the notification panel? Any good apps / widgets that can provide me quick access to this? Hate having to open all these screens just to get to it.

Here is the response from Flipfont. None of those icon-packs (that have been popular in the Play Store for years) were authorized by Flipfont and have since been shut down through a security update. I would expect the developer of these "unauthorized" fonts to create some workaround eventually...

It would be cool if an Android expert on here can create a broken-down list of the weird glitches and errors that pop-up and then to the right of that list will be troubleshooting / resolution tips. That would be so nice lol.

The chick at the ATT Store did that (safe mode) and it was the same thing. When I wiped the phone and rebuilt it it was resolved. All the same apps that were on it before so dunno what the issue was. What exactly is "screen overlay detected" anyway? And why does it prevent the full installation...

Not yet. I'll have a friend try it or stop by the ATT Store so they can do it. My hands don't work so great especially pressing multiple buttons simultaneously.
