Ads all the time now

Is there any way to determine which application is causing full-page ads to pop up on device?
About a month ago ads appear right after I unlock and occasionally during the user experience. I believe these pop up whether or not I'm actually browsing the web.
I use Next Launcher.

Does it happen if you don't use Next Launcher? Some of these 3rd party launchers are associated with adware (APUS comes to mind).

Otherwise, you'd have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away. Some frequent offenders that I can remember include Z Camera, Flash Keyboard, and ES File Explorer.

I thought it could be the launcher. I've used the paid version of Next for a few years but haven't had this problem. It could also be my ZUI lockscreen as they have a tendency to make updates no one ever likes. This is kind of a needle in a haystack but I'll poke around. Frustrating though.
