So I am currently an iphone user and really do enjoy their software and encryption which is pretty much across this software universally & by default. But wow this S7 is an amazing piece of technology! I am pretty much sold on it... but I need to find out & understand more of it's encryption...

Will this create an actual vcf file that I can save to my computer? I've already backed them up/sync'd them via gmail but I want to create a .vcf file as well

I want to back up and export a file of my contacts to my computer so I can view/edit it on my computer But when I try the export feature inside of my phone it seems to create a file and keep it on the phone - so how do I create a backup file of my contacts that I can export to my computer?

When doing the export I was under the impression it was the SD card as that was the option I selected, but from doing more research it seems that exporting to SD cards actually means the internal storage, which is really stupid and mis-leading. I Think I'm a fish out of water until I get a...

I have an Asus Padfone X that just completely died on me, but about a week ago I did a contact file export to SD card and it seemed to have completed successfully. But now since my phone has died I've removed the SD card, plugged it into a Samsung Blaze and it says the card is completely blank...

So I was able to export my entire contact list into a vcf file. Any suggestions on a program for the computer to view/edit them with ease? When I open the file with outlook it only opens up a single contact and I can't seem to browse through the entire list? Then I downloaded a vcf to csv...

Sorry, I have the Asus Padfone X for now. Is there a 3rd party app that will allow me to export into excel or something so that I can view/edit as needed? I don't want to use Outlook for any reason either...

So I always used itunes when had an iPhone and now that I'm on android I want to backup/sync my contacts What is suggested? I would like a way that I can view/edit these contacts while on the computer if I wanted to and then it can update my phone when I sync it.
