No. so typically the phone gets to the blue "installing update" screen, the update bar hits 25%, then the phone restarts with the galaxy logo. Rinse and repeat. However when I hold down the volume, then the power button to get into recovery it doesnt reach the update screen and just keeps...

Literally the same issue as OP. phone was restarting on its own, went to update and now it's stuck on the same screen. Did anyone here find a solution? I'm using a samsung galaxy A5 (2017)
