    Looking for a 7-8 inch tablet ...

Hi, OK, that seems not to be a problem, because this is only valid, if your PC and your tablet are in different networks. Yesterday I transfered some hundred MBs to my tablet without any issues!

    Looking for a 7-8 inch tablet ...

Hi B. Diddy, thank you very much for your suggestion. it seems to work as it should, the web-app is nice and quite comfortable to use, still far away from a direct access to the media, but seems to be good enough in most cases. But there is one concern I have: what is the price for this app...

    Looking for a 7-8 inch tablet ...

Hi, there was "one more", the "Leonvo Yoga Tablet 8" with 16GB for 230 EUR, that should come in November and was very interesting for me: pros: big screen, very good to handle, BT4, MicroSD, very long battery lasting, quite cheap cons: 1GB/16GB, not that small (400g), 1200x800 low resolution...

    Looking for a 7-8 inch tablet ...

OK, this could be a (cheap) option too, the Mediatek is quite slow compared to the others and the resolution is low, mostly what I have right now on my TouchPads too. It has only 1GB/16GB but a MicroSD-slot and it is really cheap. How is the build-quality and the display? And what about the...

    Looking for a 7-8 inch tablet ...

I have read that they have still unsolved problems with the touchscreen and that there where GPS problems too? Yes, it has none, Google prefers that you store all you data on there servers. But this is not what I want ...

    Looking for a 7-8 inch tablet ...

the A1 is 10" and the B1 is 7" but only 1024x600 and that's a no-go. The absolute minimum would be 1280x800 if the screen is really good, but I would prefer a higher resolution! Thanks a lot, thg

    Looking for a 7-8 inch tablet ...

Hi everybody, I'm looking for a small Android tablet to be used with a moving map app. Personally I like 4:3 screens more, because video has no importance for me at all and for everything else the 4:3 screens are just better. The display has to be very good, even in sun light and I need a...

No Omate Truesmart coverage? Is it just site policy, or am I missing something?

finally it is (over-)funded, 4,378 backers, 1.032.352 USD pledged of 100.000 USD goal :-) Anyone else who got one? So wouldn't it be great to get an entry in "WEARABLE ANDROID TECH" for the Omate TrueSmart? There is even the Qualcomm Toq, which probably never will be available as product!

    Best smartwatch?

I just "feel" that this is good for Verizon, but not for the customers. And I think it is time to change ... At least for me this would be a reason to cancel my contract as soon as possible and go for GSM, like most parts of the rest of the world. Sometimes (but not always) it has advantages to...

    Best smartwatch?

the problem is, that everything is really, really small in this smartwatch so not all providers can be supported, most GSM/UMTS ones are supported, and because of this, it works as stand alone device too, in contrary to mostly all other smartwatches available right now. But the Omate TrueSmart...

No Omate Truesmart coverage? Is it just site policy, or am I missing something?

oh, the "extreme edition" nearly runs out, only two available. But may be they add an other hundred again, or you get the November edition, where you can add 20 USD to get it with 1GB RAM, more than 4 GB is not possible, but you still can add a micro-SD card up to 32 GB :-)

    Best smartwatch?

Best smartwatch? To make it short, Omate TrueSmart :-) See other thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/general-news-discussion/312438-no-omate-truesmart-coverage-just-site-policy-am-i-missing-something.html (I'm wondering that here is not much more discussion about this smartwatch).

No Omate Truesmart coverage? Is it just site policy, or am I missing something?

I'll get my one in October. And in my opinion it is the far best smartwatch you get right now. Dualcore, up to 1 GB RAM, 8 GB flash and 32 GB SD-card plus BT, WiFi, 2G/3G and all the other stuff you get in current smartphones. All what is known and confirmed by Omate is in a community driven...
