I may not have asked this the correct way - Will my pre-paid sim work in a "locked" or "unlocked" LG G3 T-mobile phone?

I have a T-mobile prepaid sim card (in att unlocked phone) and wonder will it work in a standard T-mobile LG G3 phone or do I have to get a unlocked T-mobile LG G3 phone.

I have rooted and unlocked my Thrive and it is set to always vibrate but when I turn it off or on I get no vibration.

I have always had a "prepaid" service by AT&T and now T-Mobile and all my apps works great.

Just a recap - I did the same as BUZZMAN and all is working great with T-Mobile
